Hello,

I am wondering why the highlightings (k-header-column-menu k-state-active) of filtered columns are not automatically restored by the framework after the settings have been loaded.

The settings are stored and loaded using setOptions and getOptions. But if you do so, the k-state-active class is not set to columns with active filters.

Is this missing behavior a known bug or "as designed"? And how can it be solved?

Thanks in advance,

Holger

Is this the only solution or is there any better way now?

Hello Holger,

The highlighting of the filtered columns is still present when the Grid options are reloaded - please see this screencast and let me know if I am missing something.

Hello Plamen,

thanks for the answer. I dont still get it working. But I found a strange behavior. Probably you have any idea:

When I don't use the Column Menu the css class is set! But as soon as .ColumnMenu() is added to the grid, the filters won't get highlighted (they are still there).

Hopefully you can give me a direction..

Regards

Holger

Hello Holger,

The observed behavior is caused by a bug, which was fixed for Kendo UI Q1 2015 (2015.1.318). Please upgrade Kendo UI or use the workaround you linked above.
