Hi,

I just finished watching the demo of new HierarchyID Data-Type in SQL-Server-2008, and the first thing that occurred to me (after I got up off the floor and back on my seat) was the possibility of using this for storing menus in the database, to get higher performance loading.

Has Telerik looked at this option for possible future variants of loading a menu from a database query ??

Hello MB,

Thanks for sharing this demo with us.

We have not explored the hierarchical capabilities of SQL Server 2008 yet. However we will research what the possibilities are. Maybe we will provide a KB article or blog post describing how to bind RadMenu (or other hierarchical control) to data coming from SQL Server 2008.
