Hi,

I have a crosstab and would like to hide a Row Group depending on a Parameter value. I need to hide the complete Row, is this possible? And second I have the same problem with a column, depending on a parameter value I would like to collapse a column. I’ve tried setting the visibility’s which works everywhere on the report except in the crosstab. Can this be accomplished with a crosstab?

Thank you very much.

Hi Wayne,

Due to the data driven nature of Table/Crosstab item our suggestion is to set up Filter to the group itself. For example in the group filter expression you can use the report parameter value and if the result is false to hide the row group. In order to inspect the groups use the Group Explorer in extended mode.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Thank you. Unfortunately I did not explain myself very well. What you wrote does hide the Row Group, but want I need is to keep the row group visible but hide the row where I sum the row group - directly under the row group.

Thank you very much

Hello Wayne,

You can't hide only the Total as it is a static group that is only rendered if the main group is rendered. You can use Conditional Formatting to hide its data if needed, but it would still be there i.e. would be rendered as empty row.
