GridView Column Filter Icon not Highlighted from Persisted Settings

As the title states, when I load persisted filters, they are applied correctly; however the filter icon is not highlighted.  Is there any way to achieve this?

Hello Steve,

I tested this with the GridView serialization demo from our SDK Samples Browser, however, the filtering icon is correctly highlighted after the settings of the control are loaded.

Can you please have a look at the attached project and let me know if I'm missing something of importance?
