Grabbing a value from a double clicked row on the client side.

I'm attempting to grab a value (an email address) from a double clicked row in a RadGrid on the client side so I can use it to construct a URL. So far, I'm having a horrible time finding any mention of how to do this in your documentation, and even rooting around the DOM in Firebug is proving futile. Is there a simple way to do this?
