Hi folks,
I installed today the new release of 2008.3.1125.20 of telerik and none of the samples i could found on telerik.com for the google-like suggest code work.
The event ItemRequrested is not fired with any settings of LoadOnDemand.
As the sample, I put the RadComboBox in the RadGrid control, this one is ajaxified and all the other actions works fine.
I found 2 versions of OnClientItemsRequesting on telerik.com and none of them works, the version on the Online-Demo is deprecated.
Simon put the finger on a problem about this control and published a fix of highlight (http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet-ajax/combobox/select-first-item-when-using-contains-filter.aspx) is it possible to check also the control against the sample provided for the Google-like Filtering (http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/Controls/Examples/Integration/GridAndCombo/DefaultVB.aspx?product=grid) please.

Per your report I tested the live demo Google-like Filtering with both version 2008.3.1125 and the latest internal hotfix build of Telerik.Web.UI and everything worked normally.
Could you be more specific about how the issue can be reproduced, so that we do so on our side?
