Hi,

I have a report with details section. At the botoom of my details section, I have a text box whoise data may or may not be long. For that reason, I want to put a page break after this and force a new page when the details section is onto the next record.

I set the PageBreak of the details section to After, BeforeAndAfter... but none of them helped.

Is there an example of this?

Thanks
Tansu

Hi tg,

We are sorry about this bug. We will do our best to fix this issue in the upcoming SP1 in a couple of weeks. Your points have been updated for the report.

Kind regards,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the reply but is there a way you can push the fix to this week or so? I would hate to use ActiveReports and deliver that because we really need the page break functionality - otherwise it looks really messy.

Also, may I suggest a page break control for the report too?

cheers

Yes, tg, this is an irritating bug and we realize that you really need that functionality. We will do everything possible to fix it for Service Pack 1, which will roll out next week. Unfortunately, Service Pack 1 is not scheduled for this week, since there are many other outstanding issues and we would like to deliver a strong Service Pack.

The PageBreak report item is a great idea and we will log it in the Feature Requests table. Your points have been updated for that Feature Request as well.

I hope next week is OK with your timetable. We will have an official announcement in the Announcements Forum once the service pack is released. If you are not subscribed to the Announcements RSS already, please use this link: http://www.telerik.com/support/rss/b254P-b-b254A-bga.aspx

Was this supposed to be fixed in SP1?

I downloaded and installed SP1 and am having the same issue.

Thanks!

Hi Matthew,

Yes, this was fixed in the recent hotfix, however it is possible that you have downloaded the older version, but with the SP1 badge, rather than the new one. For some reason our site did not update the old Q1 version to the new SP1 version when we released SP1 last week.

We have uploaded the files again and triple-tested everything, to make sure that all is OK. Please, download SP1 again and reinstall the Telerik Reporting to take advantage of the latest release. We will also suggest reviewing this KB article that describes the proper way to install the SP1 and verify that it is set up correctly.

This is the first time this happens and the problem will be researched in detail by our web team. The interesting part is that the source code and the documentation files uploaded fine, but the Trial and Dev files did not.

Let us know if you still see v1.0.0.0 in the below file locations.
