As noted in the Font 'Tahoma' does not support style 'Regular'
troubleshooting documentation, installing a theme or application may cause something like this. I recommend the following steps to troubleshoot this.
Step 1 -
Ensure that the font is installed at C:\Windows\Fonts
or open Control Panel
-> Appearance and Personalization
Step 2 -
If the font is installed, get the full name of the font file from the installation, C:\Windows\Fonts\[FontFileName]
Step 3 -
Verify the registry is referencing the correct file name.
Step 3a -
Open Registry Editor with regedit
: Making incorrect changes to your computer's registry with regedit can cause serious, system-wide errors that might require a complete OS re-install. Use the Regedit.exe tool at your own risk.
Step 3b -
Ensure the registry references the same file name from the installation. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts
If none of the above works, I recommend changing the Windows theme and trying to capture traffic that way. It could be that the font wasn't designed with italics.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you for using Fiddler.
