I have a dashboard with 3 separate grids on it, while I can export each grid to a separate excel file that works great.  I was wondering if it's possible to export the 3 grids to a single excel file but on different sheets?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Rodney,

Thank you for writing.

Currently, the ExportToExcelML does not support this kind of export. The only possibility is to create a single file with one or more sheets which contain the elements from one grid. I have added your feature request to our Public Issue Tracking System - PITS. You can comment and/or add your vote for it on the following link PITS - Feature

I hope this will be useful for you. If you have other questions, feel free to write back.

Hi Ivan
Thanks for the information, but can you elaborate on your statement "The only possibility is to create a single file with one or more sheets which contain the elements from one grid."  Do you have any examples that you can send me?

Thanks,
Rodney

Hello Rodney,

Thank you for your reply.

Our export to ExcelML feature allows setting the maximum number of rows per sheet that can be exported, to do this you should set the SheetMaxRows property of ExportToExcelML. You can use the following values: 65536 or 1048576. When RadGridView is being exported and this number of rows is reached, the exporter creates additional sheet and continues to export rows in it.

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance do not hesitate to write back.

All the best,
