Hi, I am using Q2/2007 release.  I have my reports built into a DLL that is then copied into my web project (or onto my production server).

The reports are all getting a SQL exception on the prod server.  Trying to debug that, and I am wondering how can I have the DLL return an exception to the web site?

And any info on how to go about debugging the data connection?  web.config I'm guessing.

thanks

Hi David Carnley,

Could you please check if you have the web site deployed and configure correctly - all files are on the production server including the web.config(s).

If you still experience any troubles one of the possible ways to diagnose the problem could be with some kind of error logging and tracing. As a last resort you may think of debugging the production code.

I hope this information helps.

Sincerely yours,
