Excel Export of Master/Detail with Group Applied

Hello,

I found a great example of how to export the master detail grids to excel but I'm struggling when there's a "group" applied. Could someone please provide an example on how that could be done?

The Grid should export grouped data out of the box. Please check out the following example that illustrates the functionality:

In case the issue persists please send us a runnable sample where the behavior is replicated so we can examine it locally.

Thank you Viktor but I meant exporting when there is Master/Details AND Grouping.

Hi Kendall,

In order to export also the Grid detail data to excel I would recommend using the approach illustrated in the article below:

The sample uses the MVC Grid wrapper, however, the client-side logic will be applicable also for the Kendo jQuery widget.
