Hi

I get the following error when I attempt to install the Demo version of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Q1 2009. I have Vista x64 SP1, Visual Studio 2008 SP1, .NET 3.5 SP1.

"Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {7955C406-6219-7EDF-6567-2E5391F0CD4A}, HRESULT: 0x800700B7."

I've tried running as Administrator but I get the same error.

Many thanks

Lee

Hello Lee,

To resolve the problem, follow these steps:
  1. If the "RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX" is installed on your computer, remove it.
  2. Use the Msizap.exe utility to remove the Windows Installer information for the "RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX" .
  3. Obtain the Msizap.exe utility. To do this, download the Microsoft Windows Installer Software Development Kit (SDK).
  4. Follow these steps to use the Msizap.exe utility:
    1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.
    2. At the command prompt, change the current directory path to the directory where the Msizap.exe utility of the Windows Installer SDK is located.
    3. At the command prompt, run the following command:
      Msizap TP {7955C406-6219-7EDF-6567-2E5391F0CD4A}
      Note. Administrative credentials are required to use the Msizap.exe utility.
    4. Close the command prompt.
  5. Install "RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX"

Please let me know whether this helps and if this is still an issue or not.
