how do I know in code behind that this question is asked...

i tried this one: string test = e.Container.Appointment.RecurrenceState.ToString();
but threw an exception in both cases so no game...

i would also be perfect if the popup did not show at all and only that appointment is
edited......

Hey,

What do you want the RecurrenceState for?  What are you trying to do?  The popup exists because the user can move an appointment within a recurrence, which creates a separate appointment object and links it to the master recurring one.
