Editable Gantt Chart

Can we have Interactive (Editable) Gantt Chart using the Telerik reporting control. I was looking for a functionality that would add the features like moving the task shown in the gantt chart from one region to another. Increasing or reducing the duration of task in the chart itself.

How about adding a Gantt view to the Scheduler control?  It seems a natural extention, and would be quite handy for resource planning..

Thank you for the suggestion. We have already had such requests so we will consider implementing Gantt view in the future. In the meantime, I suggest you review the Timeline view demo and decide if you can use this instead.

Please accept my apologies for the late reply.

We do not have short-term plans to implement complete Gantt-chart functionality in RadScheduler. At this moment you can use the Timeline View demo which provides Gantt-like functionality although it is not a complete Gantt chart.

My company is need of a web based Gantt chart for a project we are about to start. I did find the Timeline view in the Scheduler object and we are currently trying to see if it will meet our needs.

I am wondering if you have any long term plans for adding the extra functionality so that it's more full Gantt and less Gantt-like?

We would also make use of a Gant system.  We are currently in the middle of a project that is probably going to have to be placed on hold due to the lack fo Gant controls available.

We could really use a Gantt tool.  Today My users have to manually move the dates using the calendar tools.  They would prefer the visual tools available in the Gannt toolset.  Any update on when it would be available?

I could definately use a Gantt view in the Winforms Scheduler right now. Our client wants us to create an application that would require this.

Thank you for writing.

As you probably know, gantt view is not yet supported by RadScheduler for WinForms. We do have a PITS item regarding this feature. Feel free to add your vote for it at this link. Once it gathers enough votes our team will discuss if such a feature should be implemented.
