DropDownList Server Filtering not Working in IE8

Hello,

Using IE9 with browser & document mode set to IE8, this demo won't filter:

http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/combobox/serverfiltering

Any plans to fix this?

Hello Aaron, 

Thank you for drawing our attention to this issue. Currently, widget does not focus the filter input element in official IE8. We will address this problem in the next official release of Kendo UI due the beginning of September. I updated your Telerik points because of the bug report.

Please note, however, that we do not support IE compatibility modes, as they can behave differently then official IE browsers. Check here the list of the compatible browsers.
