The desired functionality is not supported out-of-the-box for both - DropDownList with embedded TreeView and DropDownList with embedded Grid. 

Suggestion for embedding Grid in DropDownList  is each row of the Grid to be created by using template. To customize the header of the embedded Grid, the appropriate property is headerTemplate. The enclosed Dojo is an example of described implementation.

TreeView nested in DropDownList has been discussed in Kendo Forum. You can find more information in the following thread, and the example from the thread extracted in Dojo.

Another opportunity is if Filter TreeView in Dialog is fitting your requirements.
