Hi Ashish,

Currently, this is not possible, but if there is an increased demand for such a feature, we will implement it.

Kind regards,

I was looking for the same functionality, this is standard behaviour in many calendars (e.g. Outlook 2007).
It is the easiest way to create a long appointment, just drag a rangen of hours and then click or enter to fill in the details.

Would it be difficult to create this client-side? (There is only a clienttimeslotclick event, but not clienttimeslot-dragstart/dragend events)

Thanks in advance...

Has this feature been implemented yet or is there a workaround?

Do you have any expected timeline for the implementation?
We would be also very interested by this feature.

Thank you,

Tomas

I think this is a very important feature to have, especially when other controls do it. I actually just had a project that required a scheduling control and I downloaded and implemented DevExpress, Component One, Component Art, Telerik, and a few others...Telerik was head and shoulders above the rest as far as ease of setup. The only knocks on Telerik was speed and this appointment creation by dragging over time slots. Hopefully Telerik can improve on those 2 areas because it would complete an already great Scheduler control.

Hi,

Any news on this feature request?
The feature is still missing in Q2 and Q3. Any hopes for Q4?

Thanks,

Tomas

Hello Tomas,

Yes, we will implement this feature for the official Q3 2010 release. (So far only Q3 2010 beta is out).
