We have a license for the ASP.Net Ajax editor, but before I start messing around with it, can someone tell me if it even works in an MVC/Razor web project?

Thanks

Hi Charles,

RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX does not support RazorViews because they rely on the page lifecycle. For MVC application I would recommend you using Telerik Extensions for ASP.NET MVC.

Thanks. That is what I expected, but I wanted to be sure.

The MVC version that you are referring to does not come with a spell check engine, correct?

Hi Charles,

Yes, the MVC editor does not offer a built-in spellchecker.

In order to use RadSpell for ASP.NET AJAX in MVC application you need to configure the Handler responsible for its dialogs. More information on the subject is available in the following help article:
Using RadSpell in ASP.NET MVC
