Hi, is there a way to doc a toolwindow into another one? i'm trying to do something like the attached image.
the search tab is a tool window that flies out of the main tool window. the one with the navigate/tools/settings tabs on it. when the main one is collapsed, the search tool window still needs to open though if clicked.
Thanks!

Hello John,
Thank you for writing.
I think I understand the basic concept of your idea but I would need a more detailed specification of your case here. Can you describe it in a bit more details so I can fully understand what your goal is and how I might help in achieving it.
Basically you can put a RadDock inside a ToolWindow and place a ToolWindow in the inner dock. This is the first thing that comes to my mind as a possible start point in finding a solution.
I am looking forward to more details on your scenario.

Thanks Ivan.
Here's some more detail
right now i have 2 tool windows. when they're both collapsed they sit against the right side of the raddock. see example 1
one is called settings, the other search
what i really want is the following:
When settings is collapsed, it should take up the entire right side (i know how to do this one),and the search is a small tab sticking out from it. see example 2
when settings is open, search sticks out from it as a tab. see example 3
when they're both open, they look like normal tool windows stacked on each other. it's already doing this i think.
see example 4
i played with your idea of a doc inside the settings tool window, but i couldn't figure out how to make the tool winodow inside the new doc fly out to the left of the entire main tool window. it keeps going into it.
thanks
EDIT: note in example 2 i missnamed the tab. it should say search instead of settings on the little tab area.

Hi John,
Thank you for writing back.
Now I understand your requirement but this functionality is not supported by RadDock. You will have to develop a custom control to get this functionality. If you are to modify RadDock to get this functionality you will spend more time and resources than to develop a new control from scratch. Should you decide to implement such a control I would be glad to assist.
I hope this helps. If you have further questions, I would be glad to help.
