Dock Manager Component: news?

Hi,

On the roadmap page there is a "Dock Manager Component" listed, but I don't see any information on this anywhere.

Anyone have more information or an ETA on this?

Hi Christopher,

As for now, the Dock Manager component is scheduled for R3 2023, however, planning has not been finalized and this is subject to change.

When there is more information I can update you on the matter, if you like, here is this thread.

Any documentation or what to expect from this? September starts in 13 days.

Hi, Christopher,

There are no documentation articles yet, they'll be created once the component is finished. So far the specification and design have been prepared. I checked our board and the implementation is scheduled for the next release(not the upcoming one on 30th August but the one after that).

If there are no major issues or delays, the component should be released around the end of September. This is also when we'll have documentation articles, demos and likely a blog post about it.

I see documentation for DockManager here

however when I try to test it in my code it's not showing as available in your libraries (see Red) - is there any special package I need to reference for it to work? 

This is my current package reference <PackageReference Include="Telerik.UI.for.AspNet.Core" Version="2021.3.1109" />

Hi Alan,

The DockManager is available since the 2023.3.1010 version. Your version from 2021 - 2021.3.1109 - does not have it. Please upgrade your project to have this component in your project.
