Dialogue box not coming in RAD Editor - IE

When I open rich text editor in IE 11 and try to click on the button "Paste from Word"  the contents are getting directly pasted in editor without showing the dialogue box for pasting. I am not able to reproduce this issue in demo site. In demo site the dialogue box is coming. I am using the RAD editor in Sitecore(CMS). Kindly help me on this issue.

Hi,

The demos use the latest version of the controls that is available (Q3 2015 at the time of writing). If there is a difference in the control behavior, there are three possible reasons I can think of:

• The controls you are actually using are an old version. In this case I advise that you upgrade to the latest.
• There is a difference in the control configuration. Compare the demo setup with the setup you have on your end (e.g., StripFormattingOptions, enabled tools, custom code related to the control, etc.).
• Our demos, being an Internet site run in edge mode, while a local site on your end may be running in Compatibility Mode which is not supported and we cannot guarantee proper behavior there. I advise ensuring that the browser is in standards mode, removing local site(s) from the Compatibility View list and adding an X-UA meta tag to put the browser in edge mode.

On a side note - I advise that you also review the following article to get a better overview of how pasting in RadEditor works: http://docs.telerik.com/devtools/aspnet-ajax/controls/editor/managing-content/pasting-content/overview.  A key point is that IE11 has its own pasting from Word and RadEditor does not have real control over it.
