Can I override a column's behavior so that drag-and-dropping will allow not only to sort but to delete (or generate an event with delete request) them as well?

Hi Nikolay,

Please give some more details on the expected behavior - do you need to delete data, or you need to remove the column ( e.g. hide  it )  .Also I assume you talk about dragging a column header , but dropping it where ?

Once I know these , I believe we can think of some descent solution .
Any more details on your specific scenario will help to find it.

Yes, you are right. It is a column header. I need to allow it to drop out of a table and then to generate a some event.

Hi Nikolay,

Please excuse me for the delayed answer. We are in the middle of a beta release and a bit short of resources.

Please find the sample application attached. It demonstrates a way to drag a header outside.
To see this in action - just run the project and drag a header on the yellow rectangle.
