Hi,
I was unable to find default config and tools file for latest rad editor. In previous versions, it was always present in RadControls folder and we need some default files to start configuration with. I made some search but with no avail.
Moreover, in documentation is mention about "ConfigFile" property but lately downloaded RadEditor does not expose such property - what's wrong?
Thanks for help.

Hello Jan Krenek,
You do not need the RadControls folder at all with the new editor. Everything is built into the Teleik.Web.UI dll - scripts, skins, even the dialogs - which are accessed by using a http handler.
Please, see the following guidance article, which provides migration instructions for switching to RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX: Migration from RadEditor Classic to RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX.
RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX does not offer a ConfigFile property because the multiple editor controls can be configured through Themes and skin files. Please, see the following help article on the subject: Using Themes.
Sincerely yours,
Rumen

Okay, we used to incorporate config files thus we were trying to use it again :-) By the way, documentation is little bit confusing, since it contains note about ConfigFile property.
Best regards

Hello Jan,
The Migration from RadEditor Classic to RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX article provides information that the ConfigFile property is obsolete:
The ConfigFile property is obsolete in RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX, because the control can be easily configured to use ASP.NET 2.0 Themes the same way you would do for a ordinary asp.net control. Review the following help article for more information: Using Themes.
Unfortunately I was unable to find the article that contains misleading information about the ConfigFile property? I will correct it right away once you send it. Thank you for you assistance in advance!
Kind regards,
Rumen

Hello,
I'm aware it's obsolte, that's fine :-)
Try this article: http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet/editor/usingtheconfigfilexml.html
I hope I haven't overlooked some mention that is obsolete.
Regards

Hi Jan,
The provided article is taken from the documentation of RadEditor Classic (RadEditor.dll). Since you use RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX (Telerik.Web.UI.dll), you should use the documentation of RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX, which is available here.
Best wishes,
Rumen
