DatePicker Popup Kendo Grid - Angular 2

I cannot get the DatePicker Popup to sit on the top of the grid, it seems to cut off at the footer. I've tweaked with the CSS to no avail. Has anyone had any luck?

Indeed, this is a known issue with the popup positioning and more specifically with parent transformed elements (table body in this case). You can find more details and a workaround in this Github issue:
