We have your 2012 AJAX Controls. We are using a RadGrid for a finical application. What the customer was doing before was cutting parts of an Excel spreadsheet into the clip board and pasting the content into another Excel spread sheet. I don't see any way to do this directly with the RadGird it self; however, can you give us an idea how we can provide a solution to allow the user to cut a range of cells and paste them into some type of textbox control then import the data into a RadGrid?

Thanks,

Hi,

Currently RadGrid does not support pasting directly from Excel speadsheet. Although you may achieve this behavior with a custom code you may consider using this code-library project which simulate Excel functionality.

All the best,

Thanks for doing the research. You guys are the greatest!!!!! I don't know if the cut & past is still going to be a requirment as I know this may require too much work. I will go through the thread complete later today and see what is going on and if I can use any of it or even need to at this point. This new financial application my team is writing is probably going to be a 12 - 18 month project and I am just working on technical prototypes at this point to display what can and can not be done.

Finally, my boss wants me to update our Telerik ASP control set whenever a newer version comes out so if you could keep me updated on new updates, and capibilities, that would be great! For info on your latest ASP .NET products send to my new updated work email address on my profile. I sent a support ticket to change the email address on my account and will get with them to keep our ajax controls up to date.

Thanks,
