I have the need to be able to right click on a single pointmark, open a context menu, and depending on which option is selected change the style only that pointmark. We are currently using WPF RadControls Q3 2009. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Ryan

Hi Ryan Overton,
Generally it is not possible to change the MarkerShape of a single pointmark but you can customize the control to change the appearance of single pointmarks (size, background, borderbrush). We have attached a sample application to get you started.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes,

Hello Ryan Overton,
Just a quick follow-up -- we have updated the sample application to use the RadContextMenu.ItemClick event instead.
All the best,

Thank you for the solution it is exactly what I wanted to do, but I am trying to incorporate the first part of the solution, changing the point mark style, using the Q1 2010 Beta using the new scroll/zoom turned on. Is there an issue doing this or is there something special I need to do? I am also unable to get the tooltips to show up on the graph with the scroll/zoom enabled.
Thanks,
Ryan Overton

Hi Ryan,
Indeed your observations are correct -- currently chart interactivity features (mouse click, tooltips) are not available when zooming & scrolling is turned on. Unfortunately we will not be able to address this limitation for the official Q1 2010 release as we are in the final testing stages at the moment but we will do our best to implement this for the first service pack afterwards.
