Hello there,

another feature item I just came across is 'custom styles', as predefined styles (known from Word (font/size/color, indentation, bullet list (if applicable), margins etc), defined & stored/loaded in/from the doc upon saving/loading) which doesn't seem to be supported at the moment.

Is this feature planned?

All the best,
-Jörg B.

Let me add another Q to that topic: does the RichTextBox control know about (.docx) styles at all? As in Headlines etc that would e.g. usually end up in a ToC or all affected/styled texts would change with the global style change?

In addition to that, does it support Cross-References ("see ABC")?

Hello Jörg B.,
Thank you for your interest in RadRichTextBox. As for the features you inquired about:
  1. The introduction of predefined styles in the control has been postponed and will not be implemented for the next official release - Q1 (expected in the second half of March). It will probably be scheduled for Q2. As for the import of the predefined styles that are made use of in DOCX files, they are currently interpreted in view of the values they set only. The predefined styles on the list bullets/numbers are also imported, but it is still not clear if we will manage to squeeze in the UI for customizing the list style for Q1.
  2. Creating and importing Table of Contents is not yet supported.
  3. In Q1 we will be introducing bookmarks that would work similar to MS Word. It would not be exactly the cross-reference feature but this may help depending on your case.

Kind Regards,
Iva
