Custom Column / Field

Hi guys,

I know it has been spoken a lot about custom fields.

I have been reading forums for the last 3 days for fix my problem, but unfortunately, my problem is still there.

I have some fields on my Tasks database, like Duration, Actual Cost, and ... which I want to show them on the Gantt chart tree list view.

I have tried all the methods in the forums and documentation, but I still have problem with custom fields.

I am using AJAX ASP.NET and am using VB.NET as code behind.

Can anyone be able to help me please?

I am sharing the solution of the duplicated support thread here: 

The Custom Task Fields functionality can be achieved with a Custom Provider as demonstrated in the Gantt Custom Columns code library project.

Attached is a VB.NET version of the Custom Columns code library.

Dear Telerik, 

I have same problem when add new column in GanttChart. But the source code you proveided in EF Provider. I have difficulties to convert it to using datatable and stored procedure. Can you give me example using stored procedure  or datatable ?

One another problem, i need add column that display Dropdownlist in edit mode. Is it possible in GanttChart ? I need the example how to use it.
