There are a few question relating to customizing appointments :
1. Is there any way to change the shape of an appointment? i.e. have an ellipsed shaped appointment instead of a rectangle one?
2. Is there any way to remove the resizing grips from an appointment that appear when you mouse over?
3. Is there any way to have two appointments that overlap to just overlap each other and not shrink to half the row size?
Many Thanks.

I am glad to hear you've managed to resolve the first issues.
As to the last question - unfortunately such rendering of appointments is not supported by RadScheduleView - they always arranged next to each other ( or below according to the ViewDefinition Orientation).

Hi Yana,
Since I seem to be not the only one requesting this feature, would it be possible to implement the possibility to display overlapping appointments (like in this image) in an upcoming release?
Best wishes
I logged that as a feature request in our Feedback portal. You can vote for the item and track its status on the following link:

Hope this helps.

Hello,
Has the above feature request been introduced to be implemented?
I was hoping to implement the same overlapping behaviour but in TimeLineViewDefinition, where the appointment that overlaps is overlayed above the previous appointment.
If the feature request is not introduced, is there any other way to achieve this overlapping behaviour?
The feature is not implemented yet - will consider your feedback as well. Meanwhile you could try setting the EnableSimpleReccurrenceRendering which achieves quite similar appearance.
Please test it and let me know if this is helping.
