I have a CrossTab with a row grouping and a column grouping. The data results in the row grouping displaying 12 rows, while the column grouping displays 8 or more columns. The width of the page can only fit 7 columns, so the overflowed columns are rendered on the next page. Is there any way to make the overflowed columns render on the same page? There's plenty of vertical space under the original 7 columns/12 rows to fit the overflowed columns/12 rows. The attached SampleReport.png illustrates the situation and desired result.

I solved this problem by adding a derived value to data that groups the columns into groups of 7 (since I know only 7 columns will fit across the page), then added another row grouping outside of everything that groups on this new value.

Hi Robert,

I am glad to hear you found a solution.

The paging mechanism pages the content after it is rendered, thus gathering the item on a single page is not supported - Understanding Pagination. The possible column layout are reviewed in the How to: Create Multi-Column Report - Across the Page and Then Down KB article, where your approach looks similar.
