Hello,

I'm intensively testing RadGantt on different machines. I noticed that the component crashes on every resize on 1 specific machine.
The machine is an Asus N56VM with win 7 installed.

When starting the machine in safe mode, there is no crash. After some research I noticed it is the graphics card (Intel HD Graphics 4000) that causes the crash.

Is this something new to you guys? If not, could you provide me with a solution?

All other machines work like a charm, even a 5-6 year old one with Win XP.

Kind Regards

Hi Kenny,

We are not aware of such issue.
We have tested the GanttView in a machine with Intel(R) HD Graphics P4000, but we were not able to reproduce the crash. According to this forum post the P4000 and 4000 are pretty much the same so we might have missed something.
Therefore in order to make sure that we are doing the same thing it would be great if you can send us a simple project and video showing how it can be reproduced.
Meanwhile we will try to find a machine with Intel HD Graphics 4000 and retest it.

Georgi

Hi Georgi,

Right after I posted the issue, I decided to give a try on the latest wpf release. (I did my previous testing on the 2013 Q1)
The Gantt doesn't crash anymore.

Kind regards.

I do have another crash dough on that exact same machine (no other machines).
When going into edit mode for example a task's name (click on the name so that the textbox becomes editable) and right then opening the context menu by right clicking somewhere else on the Gantt also crashes on that machine...
Version I have is 2014Q1

Hi Kenny,

We have tried to reproduce the issue (again on the Intel(R) HD Graphics P4000 machine), but still no luck. Also I have attached a video just to give you an idea what am i trying. So It would be great if you can check it out and let me know if I am not missing something.

Nevertheless it would be very helpful if you can send us a simple project or a video showing the issue, just to make sure that we are on the same page. Also can the issue be reproduce in any of our examples : http://demos.telerik.com/wpf/ ?

Hello Andrea,

As we see that you have posted a support thread with ID: 903145 about the same issue could we continue the discussion there.

As Georgi previously responded we are not aware of such performance issue and we were not able to reproduce it on our side with similar PC configuration specifications.
