Hi,
I am pasting 3 paragraphs from Microsoft Word into the Telerik editor. Each paragraph (created in Microsoft Word) have different fonts and sizes and every paragraph has a heading as well. If I paste this text from Microsoft Word into Telerik editor and do select all (Control A) in the Telerik editor and apply new font or size it does not work.

Other features that do not work using same senior are:
Background color
Text color

Your prompt response will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
M

Hey M,

I just tried this, and I got some odd results.  When I go to paste from Word, I get a popup which asks if I would like to clean the data for pasting.  If I say no, it looks just like it did in word, but if you flip to HTML view you see some really ugly MS markup for styling.  My guess is that since Word 2007 formatting is not compatible with anything else on the planet (and I am using Office 2007 and guessing that you are too), the direct paste formatting isn't well liked by Editor.

However, if I click okay to clean it, everything I am trying to do in Editor is working just peachy.  Does this work for you if you click okay to clean the formatting?

Thanks for you response.
I am already using a api method that prevents that popup (Clean work format) to show. With or without the pop up the core problem still remain the same. The problem is that once I copy pasted from word, I am not able to apply fonts type, font size, and back ground color to the some text in the editor. The styling only works for the first line of the document and some paragraph headings. It seems like (if a parser is used) the parser is not working correctly for nested tags/elements.

The word formatting/styling is not being synced in well with the editor.
