Hello Julia,
Browser's notifications are desktop technology and you cannot replace the notification popup by using a web component.
If, however, by browser notification you refer to alert, confirm and prompt, you can check out this Stackoverflow thread: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5560367/override-alert-and-confirm-in-javascript.
