I am using Telerik Reporting Q1 2010 for WinForms and I'm trying to set up conditional formatting using the style builder dialog. I need to have the top border on a textbox display if a certain conditions exists. I do NOT need to have the whole textbox default border displayed.
I go into the style builder dialog and select 'Top' in the "select border" and click "ok". When I go back in to style builder the select border has changed back to default. I tried just display the report but the whole cell has edges and I only need to have the top border.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

The Style Builder default behavior is only to set the borders and not to remember the dropdown last selection. For example you can set a left border and a top border to a different or the same style and style builder will set the appropriate style and show them in the preview. Once you return you can view your changes to the style in the Preview.
For more information related to the styles check out Styling Reports help articles.

I think you misunderstood my original post. I used the Style Builder to set the top border only, but all the borders (top, bottom, left right) are being set. It doesn't matter which border I set the textbox always highlights all the borders. How do I only highlight just the top border?
Also, is there a way to dynamically manipulate the borders (top, bottom, left, right) of a textbox on/off?
You are the first one to report such behavior and we are unable to reproduce it with the provided information - check the attached video. To further investigate we will appreciate if you prepare a sample report that exhibit's the issue and/or a video that show the behavior you have experienced through the support system.

Hello,
You may use Conditional Formatting or Bindings.
I have attached a sample report to demonstrate both approaches. The top border style is set with Conditional Formatting, the bottom border style with Bindings.
