Hi,
i am currently evaluating some of the Telerik-Controls. So i created a sample project.
Now i have one question related to the Spreadsheet Control:
There was functionality included in the roadmap:
Conditional Formatting
Applying different visual settings to cells based on the data they contain allows you to identify variances in a range of values with a quick glance. The feature is very useful for comparing values, selecting rows dynamically and spotting duplicates easily.
Is Conditional Formatting included in the current WPF-Spreadsheet? I also tried out the demos but i was not able to find the fomatting.
I also wrote an email to the Trial-Support, but i do not receive an response :(.
Thank you very much!
Andy

Hi Andy,
Thank you for writing.
Unfortunately, the Conditional Formatting feature was rescheduled and it will not be implemented for Q3 2013. We will do our best to implement it in a future release.

Can I get an update on this? Is Conditional Formatting in the current (2014 Q4) build?
Also, my project requires "validation"... which, in Excel basically gives you a drop down list. Is the ability to provide a drop down list for a cell an option?

Hi Joel,
Conditional Formatting is not implemented nor scheduled yet. We have a public item for it in our feedback portal, where you can vote and subscribe in order to receive updates on the matter.
The validation feature is coming with our next official release - Q1 2015, which will be available at the end of this month. By subscribing the Data Validation public item, you will be immediately notified when the feature is released.
Let me know if I can assist you with anything else.

Tanya

One last feature question... do you have Protection? This is my use case:
I have a context/hierarchy that tracks a lot of items. Some of those items, when selected, need to load a spreadsheet and allow the user to enter data. Conditional Formatting is needed because, depending on how a user answers a question, some fields will no longer be relevant. Formatting can be used to "grey them out". The spreadsheet should only allow specific values in some fields. This is where the Validation and Protection comes in. The user should not be able to enter invalid values or enter data into cells that aren't defined.
