I found a problem related to tables and the report system in general. If a need to make different row cell formats in a table there's no way to do it (I didn't find the way).

For example, if a have a listing of vehicles and I have several formatting-subreport types one for each type of vehicle I can't find the way do it in Telerik (without adding controls by code).

Is there any clean way to do it?

Thanks in advance

Hi Servando,

We assume from your explanation that you're talking about Conditional Formatting. You can see a sample of Displaying data with alternating-style rows, e.g. if you want to apply the same to a table/crosstab item, you should set the conditional formatting to the textbox items in the table/crosstab cells and not to the table item itself.

Iā€™m having a simpler scenario:

Lets supose I have  data like this:

Data:

ID

Name

Qty

Price

Discount

1

X

4

7

3

2

The unknown is somemethin or someoneā€¦

NULL

NULL

NULL

3

Z

6

9

2

And I want to render a report like this

ID

Name

Qty

Price

Discount

1

X

4

7

3

2

The unknown is somemethin or someoneā€¦

3

Z

6

9

2

Like the Excel-like cell overflow.

Hello Servando,

No such functionality is available with our product and honestly we're not sure this is possible with any other reporting product out there. If we're wrong, can you provide us with a link to a .NET reporting product that has these capabilities? We would gladly review it and see what we can do on the matter.
