We are currently migrating to WinControl Windows.Form of telerik, but we see that the telerik components are slower to load data from a data source, my question is:

I can increase the performance of the telerik with some technique or some good practice.

Thanks

Hi ABS,

Thank you for contacting us.

In contrast to the standard MS WinForms controls which are just wrappers of the native Win32 controls, our controls support theming, animations and some other extended features. I will be honest to say that our controls will never reach the same performance as the standard WinForms controls. Nevertheless, we constantly try to improve their performance and to optimize them.

We also take serious all performance issues reported from our customers and try to solve them with high priority. Please specify the exact case and the control which you want to make faster. This will allow me to be more specific in my suggestions.

Please take a look at this KB article, it gives some basic ideas on how to improve the performance of RadControls for WinForms.

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to write back.

Greetings,
