Please update your documentation so I do not have to rely on support so much!  They are great but they are sleeping while I am working here in the US.  Examples are not documentation, very very helpful yes, but not a replacement for comprehensive up-to-date documentation.

Thanks,
David

Warning the Q3 2006 install can cause major damage to your computer system.

After installing I can no longer run ANY Microsoft Applications other than MS Visual Studio 2005.  I cannot even uninstall and reinstall Access or Office.   Telerik was made aware of this via private support, but has said this is my problem and has offered no remedies other than to blow away my registry.  That will cause more damage.

I need to know how to undo what telerik has done and only THEY know this.

I have never seen so much damage caused by an install in my 16 years of software development.

There is even evidence in past installs that they had similar problems.

An unhappy develper!

Hola all,
I am getting ready to start a new project that will be using both web and windows clients and was considering using the CSLA framework for the middle tier work (http://www.lhotka.net/)  I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it and what they thought about it, good and bad.

Web piece will be using  telerik of course, but I'm really curious about the CSLA.

Thanks in advance,

Al

maybe I'm just missing it and it's already here, but is it possible to have a search that let's me restrict my forum searches to just a single product/control?  An example: right now I'm trying to search for posts regarding problems having a r.a.d. menu control that has a dynamically resized width from JavaScript.  I use the simple search to look for "menu resizing width" and I get all sorts of posts about the splitter, grid, etc. none of which are even pertinent because they are all regarding the wrong control.  It would be nice if I could select the r.a.d. menu forum and then do a search just within that forum.  Is this already available or could it be added?  It would literally save me hours, as much time as I spend here looking for information.

Thanks.
Paul

We are proud to announce the first beta release of our new product line built entirely on top of ASP.NET AJAX.

Telerik RadControls code-name “Prometheus” will be the successor of RadControls for ASP.NET. The new product line represents the future direction of the Telerik web development tools, and is closely aligned with Microsoft’s roadmap. The first version of the suite bears a Beta tag and will be launched commercially in early 2008, after Visual Studio Orcas is released and after Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX becomes an integral part of the ASP.NET framework.

The spring release brings a significant addition to the Telerik portfolio of developer tools with the first release of Telerik Reporting.

The new report generation engine offers a very convenient object model and solid Visual Studio 2005 integration to allow customers to easily generate Win, Web and PDF reports, with more formats on their way. Referred to as "Easibility", the development experience offers drag and drop databinding capabilities, ability to plug in custom renderers, a Visual Studio-identical datasource wizard, fine-grained CSS-like styling mechanism, rich set of measurement units and a wealth of other features that can accelerate the creation and styling of company reports. Telerik Reporting is available for download from all Client.Net accounts.
