Trying to get a calendaring application launched in a SaaS environment (Application Service Provider).  The job is well defined and I need a very efficient .NET guru to implement this.  You need to have strong DB experience in either SQL Server or MySQL and ideally, will be able to use rapid development tools such as those provided by Telerik.  We can negotiate rates, hourly, project, percentage of sales, etc.  I can provide a more detailed scope of work upon request.  I'm in LA, but you can be anywhere.  My estimate is that this will be a rather intensive 3-5 week project plus long-term consulting.  You can reach me directly at blake.newman@yahoo.com - hoping its okay to post my e-mail in this forum as I admit that I haven't read the Terms of Use that I agreed to.

The much anticipated Service Pack 2 for RadControls for WinForms is online and can now be downloaded from your Client.net accounts!

This release has gone through a vigorous testing process to ensure that you get a stable and usable version. It fixes all issues that have been reported to date. Performance has greatly been improved for three of our widely used controls: RadGridView, RadTreeView, and RadChart.
The Full Release Notes can be found here: http://www.telerik.com/products/winforms/release-history.aspx

Thank you very much for your feedback and patience. Enjoy!

Yours,
The Telerik team

Just wanted to let you know about our experience trying to purchase Telerik RADControls for ASP.NET.

Firstly, the help popups did't seem to work on IE6. Only tried IE6 on one machine (Windows 2000). Minor issue.

Secondly, we were unable to order online at Telerik. We went through the whole process, filling in details etc and then after clicking on the Confirm Order button after an age it eventually justs throws an error up. We tried on IE6 and IE7 and Firefox to the same results. So eventually we gave up and ordered through our local reseller (QBS Software - UK) which worked perfectly and we had the confirmation and access to the download very quickly.

We now have the product, so nothing needs to be done for us, but you may want to look into these problems for other customers.

Regards.

Hi,
I recently filled out the survey titled "customer satisfaction" or "support satisfaction" on the telerik website. This was about 2 weeks ago.

So far, the promised telerik points were not added to my account. Have other users already received their points or should I wait some more?

Thanks,
Martin

Hello,
I found some wrong points in My Purchases section:
1. In source code see a link to /client.net/my-licenses/styles/MyLicenses.css that is not exist.
2. All AJAX in this section (My Purchases) make huge request and response.
This info grabbed with Fiddler2 and only size html output
1. Page load /client.net/my-licenses/my-purchases.aspx 242094 Bytes
2. Click on RadControls for ASP.NET 356923 Bytes?!
3. Now click on Downloads 430955 Bytes?!!

I think you must make attention to this page.

Best regards

Can I call a server-side method from Javascript?

What I have is a page that plays a flash video and I have actionscript that call a javascript method. In the javascript method I would like to call a server side method.

Currently I have a hidden button who's button click event is called through javascript but would like to take it one step further and remove the hidden button.

Is this possible?

This is what I currently have:
<script type="text/javascript">
    function SomeFunction()
    {
        document.getElementById('<%=Button1.ClientID%>').click();
    }
</script>

This is what I would like to do:
<script type="text/javascript">
    function SomeFunction()
    {
        //call a server side method
    }
</script>
