Dear Telerik Support --

We have been using ComboBox 2.2 but needed to upgrade in order to get OffsetY as introduced at 2.5. The upgrade cost us about US$ 720 at standard billing rates.

All because at Some Point, Some One decided to make the boxes 11 pixels narrower and the dropdown panels 11 pixels wider. We had to visit each and every instance of a ComboBox, of which there are many, make the necessary changes to restore our software, then retest each possible use.

In English we have several choice words for Some One, as I am sure you must in Bulgarian -- none of them at all polite and most of them unprintable in a family newspaper.

I am a mere school teacher of 20+ years but love developing with .Net and especially Telerik controls.

I am developing an e-learning solution for my kids and hopefully the world over at http://www.iskool.net/
This site uses many Telerik controls and is soon to be all Ajaxed.

Is anybody else interested in the concept of '.Net or Telerik in Education?'

Cheers all,

J

Hello
The way I deploy my application creates only DLL diles. Some of the parameters are saved in the resource.resx file. Is there a way to edit this resource after deployment? (or to deploy this file as text  NOT in a DLL ?)
Thanks in advance

Hi guys!

I've got a little suggestion concerning the forum's search results page: I think it might be a good idea if one were able to navigate from this page back to the forums, especially in case that there are no results. Besides the browser's "Back" button you have no other opportunity to go back. The top menu doesn't show the popup menus - so you even can't reach the forum's entry page this way. And the "Browse Forum" navigation in the left sidebar is also not there.

Just as a hint :)

As far as I see, there is no simple way to see all threads in the forum  I'm currently subscribing when I'm browsing the forum. I see them either on the "My Client.net" page, or if I'm writing/editing a post.

In the last case my subscriptions are shown at the bottom of the navigation in the left sidebar. This feels quite comfortable to me. So I would appreciate if my subscriptions would always be shown in the navigation. Maybe collapsible.

Regards,
ReneMT

Since its introduction earlier this year, RadGridView has proven to be the most used control in our WinForms suite, meaning that Telerik has to put extra efforts in its development and maturity. The product is now very close to the Telerik quality you all are accustomed to, so it is now time to turn to the feature set. We are in no way short of feature ideas (thanks to all of you who have offered their ideas and suggestions), but we would love to get your rating on the most requested features we have listed here.

Your ratings will be used to shape our plans on the future versions of the product, so this is your chance to have a saying in Telerik's Product Plans. Click on the image below to share your ideas!

My web host just upgraded our companies hosted email application to SmarterMail pro v4.3. The first thing I noticed (well maybe the second or third) was how much more reliable it was then the previous version. Of course I hit view source to take a look at few things and to my surprise it is built from the ground up with Telerik controls. RadMenu, RadPanelBar, RadGrid, RadAjax...the works.

Sincerely,

Ben

Goodday,

My knowledge about Telerik is minimal so this might be a easy question. I am working on a website for a client and one of the menu's is build in/with telerik. Now i need to change the text of a button, and thats not a problem. The problem is, i need te break in the text off halfway (so in HTML, this would be <br />). But how do i do this in telerik? This is the code:

<Node Checkable="False" Href="050103_kleinestoringen.aspx" Value="050103_kleinestoringen.aspx" Text="Zelf kleine /BREAK/ storingen oplossen" />

Can any one help me out with this one?
Would me much appreciated!

Greetings,
Frank
