Is is possible to overlay two chart types in the same chart? I would like to create line and scatter chart combined - similar to the chart seen attached to this post.

Hi Brenden,
I am afraid it is not possible to mix the Kendo UI Scatter and Line charts. The reason is the design of the two types of charts - the Line chart is a categorical chart (such as Bar, Column and Area charts), while the Scatter Chart is a XY Chart (such as Scatter and ScatterLine line charts):

Thanks Dimiter! Just to clarify. Does that mean that charts can be combined, as long as they are of the same series type?

Hi Brenden,
The possibility to display multiple series items with various type is dependent rather on the type of the Chart Axes (Value/Category vs X/Y) than on the type of the series.
For example, column and line series can be combined within a categorical Chart, while scatter and scatterLine series can be combined within a XY Chart.
I hope this clears up a potential misunderstanding.
