Color theme generator doesn't manage all themes

Hi,

In my application I used windows 8 theme but in some controls I used office_blue. Now I need to change color patterns of my application and I choose a green main color for windows 8 theme, but I can't change the controls with office_blue because it is not in the list of themes in ColorThemeGenerator. Maybe office_blue comes from office theme, but it is not in the list too.  I choose the office styles because of not flat bar in panel bar control.

Hello Luigi,

The Color Theme Generator will allow you to customize only the themes that support ThemePalette. The Windows 8 theme has support for this, however, the Office themes, such as Office_Blue, do not have support for ThemePalette. This is the reason why they are not present in the Color Theme Generator.

For themes that do not support ThemePalette, the resource dictionaries for the used assemblies for the chosen theme would have to be modified. More specifically, the brushes that are declared in each resource dictionary. These resource dictionaries are present in the Themes.Implicit folder of your UI for WPF installation.
