Does the Telerik Panel control have built-in support for use as a collapsible panel?  Any code examples if it does?

Hi Anthony Jackson,

Thank your for question.

We do not offer the desired component as a part of our WinForms Suite. However, we have an example of such implementation based on the Telerik Presentation Framework. You can take a look at it in our Examples application under section Integration >> XP Collapsible Pane. Feel free to modify this implementation according to your requirements.

Hello eliraz,

This thread is quite an old one (almost two years old). We removed the collapsible pane example from our suite in one of our previous releases as we do not plan to support its code base anymore. I am attaching it to my reply, but please note that this example comes as is, i.e. as I mentioned, we do not plan further development on it. Generally, this is just an example of the Telerik Presentation Framework and XP Collapsible pane is not intended to be fully functional and flexible ready-to-use control.

I hope this helps.

Hi Manoj,

Thank you for writing.

As I implied in my previous reply, the CollapsiblePane was not an official control and we removed it from our examples an year ago as we do not plan to support its code base anymore. Still, as a goodwill gesture please find attached a version of the CollapsiblePane implementation that works with the latest release Q2 2012 SP1. Please note that no further updates will be done regarding this sample application in case such are needed.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have additional questions.

Greetings,

Hello Ayush,

Thank you for writing.

As my colleague mentioned this control is not included in our suite and we do not provide support for it. Feel free to modify it anyway you need to in order to fulfil your requirements.

I would like to inform you that we have plans on introducing such a control in a future release. Feel free to subscribe to our blog's RSS feed to get notified about it: http://blogs.telerik.com/winformsteam/posts.aspx.

If you have further questions regarding our suite, do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards,
George
