We have a requirement in which we need to automate the URL using Coded UI having Kendo controls. This URL is only accessible in Chrome browser and not in IE. Currently Coded UI is supporting Chrome and other URL having only Html controls. Coded UI is not recognizing the Kendo controls present in Chrome browser.
We had tried recording the controls from IE and playing on chrome, but this is also not working  I wanted to know, whether Chrome browser + coded UI + kendo control combination is possible.

Hi Atul,

We do not officially support Coded UI. However, as for now, there are no reports of any incompatibility issues between the two products.

Generally speaking, creating functional tests for Kendo UI application is not a trivial task, as it requires very detailed understanding on how Kendo UI widgets function: on which DOM element an event should be executed, when some of the hidden elements are shown and how we should use them.

A video that may be of interest to you is: http://www.telerik.com/automated-testing-tools/campaigns/testing-kendoui-apps.aspx. It shows using Telerik Test Studio translators for testing KendoUI. We advise you to create some similar test cases as a proof-of-concept for using Coded UI and KendoUI.
