I can't remember exactly, nor can I find it, but I had problems with controls on a new site today and then realized the only difference between it and a working one was the Managed Pipeline was set to Classic instead of Integrated. Then I remembered that was what you had told me to do in a previous post, which I can't find.

In short, why should we use classic and not integrated? Is that something that will be "fixed" in future releases? Or will it even need a fix. In short, it just plain old don't work with integrated and at this point I don't know enough about it as to whether I'll need integrated down the road.

I use 2008 web server and IIS7 3.5 SP1.

thanks.

Hi Moon,

We recommended not to use IIS7 Integrated mode till Q2 2008 when customers wanted to use file upload progress monitoring. RadUpload did not support IIS7 Integrated mode before. This is fixed though and there are no reasons for not using IIS7 Integrated mode.

As per the errors you experience - could it be that you haven't registered the HttpModules/HttpHandlers of RadControls which utilize them to the <system.webServer> section of the web.config?
