Hi,

after registering scriptmanager I get the line

<

add assembly="Telerik.Charting, Version=2.0.3.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=D14F3DCC8E3E8763"/>

added to my web.config.
This (I'm almost sure) happens also when I add any RadControl to a page.
I don't use charts - the dll is not copied to the bin folder - why that ref?
VS: 2008 - german
RC-Ajax: q2 2008

Regards

Manfred

That is a good question. I even push an app to production only to have a server error thrown because of not being able to find the charting DLL. Not a big thing, as i just removed the line item, but I'd like to know who figured that because e use the controls we would also be using the charts.

And to that I would dd.. what is with the overwriting of he VS help? I hit F1 and all I get for choices are Telerik and unfiltered.. and the unfiltered is all telerik... wasn't too pleased when I saw that...

Hello Manfred, Sean,

Please, find the Charting dependency described in details in this forum post.

Sean, can you please describe in details the issues you are having with the help. It would be helpful if you can provide details about how it was before installing RadControls and how it is now. You can open a support ticket for this and attach screenshots. As soon as we are aware of all the details we will provide assistance on the matter. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Ves
