Is there any way to create a scatter line chart with a navigator attached to it, similar to the stock charts? We are looking to display continuous data rather that daily/weekly/monthly aggregates, which looks like it rules out the stock charts.

The Navigator widget is a part of the Stock chart and cannot be used with the standard chart. You are right that the current implementation provides a set of predefined baseUnits for data aggregation, so I can suggest you to send us your ideas for improvements regarding this functionality in our Feedback Portal:
