Hi,

I have started running the Telerik Reporting as of the Q2 2009 release.  The charts generated look fine on screen, but grainy when exported to PDF.  I see the setting for Bitmap Resolution, but changing it seems to have no effect on the export.  Also, I am unable to select any file format besides the default 'emf' when in design mode for the report.

Is there a way to make the chart export in a resolution (300 or 400 dpi) that will look good for printing purposes?

Thanks,

Mikkel

Hello Mikkel Hylden,

The blurry chart image might be caused by a specific setting in the Adobe Reader. Please check the value of the Edit | Preferences | Page Display | Resolution setting. It should be "Use system setting" and the zoom percent of the viewer should be 100%. As chart images are scalar they might lose their quality when stretched or shrunk. A screenshot for the reader's setting is attached.

All the best,

Thanks - that seems to have done the trick.
