Hi Tusar,

The Chart and the Crosstab items are not directly related (meaning that you can't create a chart on top of the crosstab). However if you use the same data-source for the chart and the crosstab you will get a visual representation of the data (I guess that's what you need).
To get started with the Chart item, you can look into our Dashboard demo and Employee Sales Summary. Each demo has a corresponding video, showing the whole report building process. They both make pretty good demonstration of how to use the Chart Item in Telerik Reporting. The demo projects are installed along with the Telerik Reporting tool locally.

Hello Elian,
Actually what happens in cross tab, the data which is retrieved as row wise from the database is represented column wise inth cross tab report when we assign the datasource of the records.
so in my case the format is something like below
DEPARTMENT PRIMARY SECONDARY MATRICULATION
Male Female Male Female Male Female
Marketing 3 7 6 9 5 2
Finance 2 4 9 1 2 5
Accounts 4 8 1 8 9 2
So, this is the table format.
Now for the bar graph format as per the table please find the attachment.
Now as you can see the bar graph and the table ,each bar for each department represents the horizontal male and female column of the table.
For example, In the table For marketing we have 6 columns hence in the Bar graph we have six bars for Marketing and so on.
So I want this represent of the data in the bar graph from the table above which is a cross tab report. That means according to the no of departments the data will be generated. Here there is 3 departments but later it can be 4 or 5 or any number.
No my problem, is the datasource which is in row format which the cross tab wizard in telerik arranging in column format for me but how to accomplish this dynamically in the Bar chart. Any Idea or not possible !!

Hello Tusar,
If you mean the grouping capabilities of the CrossTab, then you can use the DataGroupColumn property of the chart - it groups the items into different series based on the column you have specified. However, the automatic grouping is quite limited and does not allow many adjustments.
The best way to handle your situation would be to build the chart items/series programmatically. This way you will have full control over the chart's appearance and item display. You can look into these two articles:
