is there a way for me to do this? I've tried doing it but the FormattingRule class does not expose a property that allows me to change the Expression. I'm passing parameters to the report constuctor and based on those parameters the formating conditions need to be set up.

Hi Jacobus,
Please check the Conditional Formatting help topic that explains the conditional formatting in Telerik Reporting. The FormattingRule class has a property - Filters - that represents the actual condition when the filter will be applied. You may find additional information regarding the filtering expressions here.
